Of particular concern are the Beaked Whales, who are extremely rare, dive more than 6,000 feet deep, are largely unknown to science, and will be hit the hardest by the pressure waves caused by the HSTT sonar sonic blasts. These blasts will go on for 5 years in the Southeast Pacific and are likely to kill more marine life than estimated by even the most dire predictions.
