Join San Diego Audubon as we restore nesting habitat of the CA Least Tern, a federally-listed endangered seabird! This species has lost most of its coastal dune nesting habitat, and the habitat that remains is often overgrown by invasive weeds. We will be working to remove these weeds, repair fencing and install signage, all to help this little bird and its chicks thrive.

Join Think Blue and I Love A Clean San Diego on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10AM-12PM at Robb Field in Ocean Beach for Storm Drain Stenciling Day! Volunteer and give back to the community as we stencil pollution prevention messages on all storm drains in the neighborhood and remove litter and debris before it reaches the San Diego River watershed.

Join San Diego Audubon and the Port of San Diego as we restore coastal sage scrub habitat at Grand Caribe Shoreline Park in Coronado. Coastal sage scrub has declined dramatically in our region, and we have been replacing non-native plant species with natives in order to create better habitat for the birds and other wildlife.

The documentary tells the story of Gaza past and present, showing rare archival footage that explains the history never acknowledged by mass media. Victims are heard from the ongoing massacre, including journalists, medics and the family of internationally-acclaimed paramedic, Razan al-Najjar. Film Director Abby Martin will be present and introduce the film.

San Diegans for Truth: Fires In California! Is It DEW Weapons or Something Else?

At this meetup, we will watch videos of firefighters, former captains, present evidence from the Paradise fire (which killed 86 people) which show how this fire was not a normal fire event.

We will also see a video presentation by Deborah Tavares on her research into the so-called "wild" fires.
