Become a weed warrior and help restore fragile coastal dune habitat to benefit the endangered Least Tern and native dune plants!

We will be working at the CA Least Tern nesting site on the northern edge of Fiesta Island from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8th.

Join San Diego Audubon and the Port of San Diego as we restore coastal sage scrub habitat at Grand Caribe Shoreline Park in Coronado. Coastal sage scrub has declined dramatically in our region, and we have been replacing non-native plant species with natives in order to create better habitat for the birds and other wildlife.

We will be working to remove these weeds, repair fencing and install signage, all to help this little bird and its chicks thrive.
