Join San Diego Audubon as we restore nesting habitat of the California Least Tern, an endangered seabird that nests on coastal sand dunes in San Diego from April to September every year. This bird has lost most of its original habitat, and the areas that remain are overgrown by invasive weeds. Cue our awesome volunteers, who help us restore these nesting areas.

Join San Diego Audubon as we restore coastal sage scrub habitat at Grand Caribe Shoreline Park in Coronado. Coastal sage scrub has declined dramatically in our region, and we will be replacing non-native plant species with natives in order to create better habitat for the birds that rely on this habitat type.

Join San Diego Audubon as we restore nesting habitat of the California Least Tern, an endangered seabird, on FAA Island in Mission Bay. This normally inaccessible island is a favorite Least Tern nesting area, and we need your help getting it ready. We will be catching a boat from the Ski Beach Boat Dock over to the island, and will provide all needed supplies.
