Activist San Diego meets every third Monday of the month. Please check back soon for our next meeting topic.

Meetings are free and take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Joyce Beers Community Center in Hillcrest (4065 Vermont St. San Diego, CA 92103). Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us!

Oktoberfest Cleanup with Think Blue and Thorn Brewing Company

Break out your lederhosen and dirndls for the Oktoberfest Community Cleanup on Saturday, October 26th from 10am-12pm at Thorn Brewing Company with I Love A Clean San Diego and Think Blue! We will cheers to a clean San Diego Bay watershed with a neighborhood litter pickup, storm drain stenciling, and celebrate with discounted beers from Thorn Brewing after!

Voices for Children (CASA) Volunteer Information Session

Help youth in foster care by volunteering with Voices for Children today! As a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer, you will work with a child or teen in foster care by advocating for their needs while serving as a consistent and supportive person in their life. Attending a Volunteer Information Session is the first step to becoming a CASA volunteer.

Help restore nesting habitat of an endangered bird!

Join San Diego Audubon as we restore nesting habitat of the CA Least Tern, a federally-listed endangered seabird! This species has lost most of its coastal dune nesting habitat, and the habitat that remains is often overgrown by invasive weeds. We will be working to remove these weeds, repair fencing and install signage, all to help this little bird and its chicks thrive.
