Bob Filner, Chairman of Veterans Affairs with highlights from Arlington West & Cross My Heart, by Peter Dudar & Sally Marr Music by Kevin "Mac Mac" McCoy. Program followed by a sunset vigil to honor those who have died in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. More Info

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, NOON: Silent Vigil at Friendship Park. 20th Anniversary of The Fall of the Berlin Wall. Where: 1601 Monument Rd. (At the entrance of the park, Near the dirt parking lot). On the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, I am planning to walk down to the beach at Border Field Park and then as close to the wall as allowed. The walk will be in silence and then once we arrive at the wall, we can sit in silence to celebrate the Fall of the Berlin Wall and to hope for the end of all Border Walls. More Info

The Jonestown tragedy, which happened in November 1978, ranks among the largest mass suicides in history as well the greatest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the events of September 11, 2001.
