Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, a new BBC poll has found widespread dissatisfaction with free-market capitalism. In the global poll for the BBC World Service, only 11% of those questioned across 27 countries said that it was working well.

The ownership society, all that was a scam, basically, designed to lure people who could never afford these mortgages into accepting them. Hundreds of thousands of workers, teachers and students have declared a National Strike in defense of their rights, and against the fascistic actions of the Mexican puppet government, they have called for international solidarity. The 44,000 electric workers who were fired a few weeks ago will try to take back their jobs in central Mexico, clashes with the military are expected. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, NOON: Silent Vigil at Friendship Park. 20th Anniversary of The Fall of the Berlin Wall. Where: 1601 Monument Rd. (At the entrance of the park, Near the dirt parking lot). On the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, I am planning to walk down to the beach at Border Field Park and then as close to the wall as allowed. The walk will be in silence and then once we arrive at the wall, we can sit in silence to celebrate the Fall of the Berlin Wall and to hope for the end of all Border Walls. More Info
