Occupy the Airwaves

Help Build a new FM Radio Station
Join the San Diego Community Radio Project

Can you imagine what an activist, non-commercial, educational, community-based, public radio station would do for Occupy San Diego and other social justice causes?

Next meeting is Thurs, Dec. 15th @ 7 pm

4246 Wightman St, San Diego, 92105

One block south of Univ. Ave on Van Dyke (between 42nd & 43rd St.)

Activist San Diego will be convening a series of organizing meetings to construct a new community radio station in the coming 12 month: Community involvement is essential to starting up this new full-power FM Radio

The station based in Descanso has a total of 700,000 potential listeners.

It is ASD's intention for this to be a grass roots institution with the content created by dozens of non-profit orgs and a diverse section of San Diego that has been marginalized by the corporate media.

Please contact us if you are interested in helping establish community radio in San Diego! An Internet station will be one of our first steps. We need you soon. 619-871-9354
