Teaching to Transgress (TtT) is an autonomous, all ages, egalitarian, student-run “Summer School” which works to offer a wide range of workshops, classes, trainings, and skill shares freely to the community. (TtT) offers a direct challenge to educational, economic, and social systems that oppress and divide our communities by providing vibrant alternatives to those systems and safe places for them to thrive. We stand in alliance with struggles that uphold collective liberation and cooperation. These struggles are grounded in racial, gender, economic, environmental, and disability justice; trans and queer liberations; anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist politics.

Furthermore, Teaching to Transgress (TtT) is seeking to critique San Diego City College administration, San Diego Community College District administration, and the state of California’s inability to fund and offer necessary summer classes to graduate, a functioning college for student self-determination, a lack of and misplacement of priorities directly affecting graduate and transfer students. Teaching to Transgress and its learning collectives as well as the Radical Education Summit are not in association with the above named organizations. TtT classes are not available for units/credit towards transferring or a degree.
