Elections for new members of the Activist San Diego Board of Directors will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 7PM

In accordance to the ASD By Laws…

The Nominating Committee of Activist San Diego invites its members to elect new members to the ASD Board of Directors. The vote will take place on Monday June 16, 2014 at 7PM at ASD’s general meeting at the Joyce Beers Community Center located at 3900 Vermont Street, San Diego, CA 92103.

ASD members are eligible to vote. ASD members are defined as those people who have participated in ASD meeting and activities and have donated the equivalent of $2 or more a month for at least the last 12 months are eligible to vote by secret ballot for 5 candidates to lead their organization and by extension KNSJ radio.

The June 16, 2014 election is the most hotly contested in the history of ASD there are 11 candidates running to fill 5 seats on the ASD Board of Directors.

Nominations for the Activist San Diego Board of Directors have been received by ASD’s Nominations Committee and submitted by the ­­­June 1, 2014 deadline.

Paid members can solicit an absentee ballot by emailing Esmeralda Anaya: Anaya67@gmail.com & Charles Nelson: charlesnelsonus@yahoo.com and sending in their ballot to
PO Box 5631 SD, CA 92165 by June 14th at 10 am .

Members are encouraged to attend on Monday June 16, 2014 where candidates will be given an opportunity to address the membership prior to the vote and members can ask questions. This promises to be an exciting election so please vote. ASD and KNSJ depend on your support and endorsement of its leadership.
