April 22, 2017: San Diego March for Science: Part of a national day of protest. 10 am-4pm. San DIego Civic Ctr Plaza, 1200 Third ave. " The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity"

March for Science is an effort comprised of hundreds of independent, nonpartisan coordinators. Recent rhetoric has inspired the coordination of the March for Science on Washington. In solidarity, we are organizing a San Diego sister march. The March mission statement is as follows:

"The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest."

Thank you for your support of our cause!
