The Post-Political Condition. Brexit, Trump and the Rest of Us. A Talk and Book Signing with Gilad Atzmon. Sunday October 1, 2-4pm. Joyce Beers Community Center, Hub Shopping Center, 3900 Vermont Ave., San Diego 92103.
In the post-political universe in which we live, much of humanity has been reduced to serve the interests of big money and oligarchy. Left and Right have become indistinguishable and meaningless. The freedom to think openly is now within the domain of nostalgia. Our Western Liberal ‘utopia’ has turned into an Orwellian catastrophe, and we the people, have been left bewildered and impoverished.
Being in Time is a courageous attempt to grasp the intellectual developments that led towards the current dystopia. Gilad Atzmon is an international jazz artist, composer and author. His previous book The Wandering Who was a best seller and was translated into 14 languages.
Gilad Atzmon is a British Jazz artist and author. Gilad was born in Israel in 1963 and trained at the Rubin Academy of Music, Jerusalem (Composition and Jazz).
