Join San Diego Audubon in our efforts to restore native sand dune habitat at South Shores in Mission Bay! We will be working to protect an endangered species of native plant by removing invasives such as ice plant and Sahara mustard.

This event will run from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm on Sunday, December 10th. Parking will be in the dirt parking lot at the entrance to Fiesta Island; please plan on arriving 15 minutes early to allow for check-in.

We will be providing all of the necessary supplies (gloves, water, sunscreen and snacks), but recommend that volunteers come prepared in long pants and closed toed shoes and that they bring a reusable water bottle. Anyone under 18 will need a waiver to be signed by a parent or guardian.

RSVP or find out more by contacting our Restoration Program Manager, Megan Flaherty, at flaherty@sandiegoaudubon.org or (858) 273-7800 x 106.
