Join San Diego Audubon and the UC Natural Reserve System as we celebrate Mission Bay's last remaining wetland, Kendall-Frost, on Saturday, February 10th! Roughly 1% of Mission Bay's original wetlands remain today, so understanding the importance of these fragile and threatened habitats is essential to protecting the threatened and endangered species that call this area home.

The event will run from 9 am - 4 pm and activities will include walks through the marsh, educational booths, arts and crafts for kids, a live animal presentation and an opportunity drawing. Bring your rain boots and be prepared for some muddy fun!

RSVP at http://bit.ly/2018LoveYourWetlandsDay. You can also email San Diego Audubon's Restoration Manager at flaherty@sandiegoaudubon.org to find out more.

This is the only day of the year that the reserve is open to the public, so take advantage of this opportunity to explore!
