The 50th anniversary of the infamous My Lai Massacre is March 16, 2018.

The San Diego Veterans For Peace are bringing the 16-panel My Lai Memorial Exhibit Program, developed by the Chicago Veterans For Peace, to the 1st Unitarian Universalist Church (4190 Front St) to honor the over two million Vietnamese civilians who died in what we call the “Vietnam War” and the Vietnamese call the “American War”.

This unique program includes an interactive art exhibit that allows the public to observe, participate in, and reflect upon these events of war. The Memorial Exhibit will also feature nationally known experts on our wars abroad and violence at home, from our schools to our streets. There will be panel Q & A to delve into our ongoing policies in Syria, Iran, and North Korea.

All events and presentations are free and open to the public.
