Activist San Diego Membership meeting March 19th at 7 PM at Joyce Beer Community Center

Join us for an activist panel discussion on

Intersectional Feminism and the movement for gender and racial equality.

How do we incorporate and interconnect this movement into the core of all our causes? How do we genuinely advance the women's leadership, especially women of color, within other struggles for social justice.

Music by local singer-songwriter Sandra Bacal.

Panelist:

Buki Domingos – ASD President as our rep/participant in the GGJ Feminist training, will report back.

Karen Guzman – local activist leader among SD county Dreamers/DACA youth.

Sarah Kadous – Muslim High School leader in human & immigrant rights – an intersectional feminist.

Ana Orozco - Feminisms and Gender Justice Organizer with Grassroots Global Justice Alliance will speak to the ASD forum by Internet connection. She led the GGJ 3-day workshop on Feminism attended by Buki.

You - Join us to add your voice to the discussion after a panel discussion.
