WATERSHED WARRIORS: FALLBROOK COMMUNITY CLEANUP
Date: Saturday January 12, 2019
Time: 10AM-12PM
Location: Don Dussault County Park - 832 Alturas Rd, Fallbrook, CA 92028 (Coordinates: 33.374873, -117.257728)

Join ILACSD, the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, and the County of San Diego for a community cleanup in Fallbrook! ILACSD will be kicking-off our Watershed Warriors series, and the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance will be kicking-off its Keeping Fallbrook Litter-free program! We will meet at Don Dussault County Park and pick up trash around the park and surrounding neighborhood to divert litter from the Santa Margarita watershed and preserve the area’s natural beauty!

We will have cleanup supplies and educational exhibits to discuss the impact of trash on our environment. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment!

We encourage volunteers to bring your own reusable items such as water bottles, work gloves, and buckets to promote zero-waste practices and help us in our mission to have a zero waste, litter free and environmentally engaged San Diego region!

All volunteers are required to fill out a waiver form to participate and anyone under the age of 18 needs a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
