A family grieving after the passing of their father ended in conflict and miscommunications which led to a call to the police. Despite no family member pressing charges, the DA picked up the police report and decided to charge James E. with a felony criminal threat. He is now facing an outrageous 35 to life sentence with $1 million bail. James E.
