Good Trouble Lives On Protest – Thu, July 17, 5pm

Were you one of the 60,000 protestors who showed up to the No Kings Protest at Waterfront Park? Eager for more?

Join the next chapter of the No Kings Movement with Good Trouble Lives On in San Diego!

Led by SD’s youth, with the support of 50501 San Diego and Activist San Diego,  this is the central protest for the region as a part of the national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks on our constitutional rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

We sent a clear message when we said No Kings. We are building on this momentum by taking action on July 17, the anniversary of the civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis’s passing, to show collective resistance to authoritarianism, defend our democracy, say no to unconstitutional wars, and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

[“Good Trouble” is taking peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.]

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, we are all facing attacks on our constitutional rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising to defend our civil and human rights. Spread the word!
