We invite community members to our monthly Community Self-Defense Coalition meeting. As ICE continues to terrorize our barrios, the people organize to keep each other safe! Learn more about ongoing street safety patrols, accompanying efforts at the courts, and what everyday people are doing to prevent the encroachment of fascism in our communities!

Come with your large banners, flags and word scrabble block signs. Resist tyranny, attacks on the Constitution and the rule of law! Meet on the Severin/ Fuerte overpass. Every Wednesday 3:00-4:30 pm.

Join concerned residents, activists, and organizers outside the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building in Downtown San Diego to demonstrate staunch opposition to ICE, the mistreatment of human beings in their custody, and the illegal detention of innocent people.

Location: Meade Ave Bridge Over I-805. We provide large physical messaging in the real world to connect with and activate voters to demonstrate that resistance is possible. Bring a sign for cars on the bridge or just wave to the cars passing below.

San Diego DSA will host a three part reading series focusing on both contemporary and historical works of feminist theory for Women’s History Month.

This series will cover the development of feminist thought into Feminist Marxism, then explore some constructive critiques of feminist thought over the last several decades, and conclude with a dive into decolonial feminisms. Join us at the City Heights Library from 11am-1pm on Saturday March 14!

In the first session of this reading series we will be covering some of the historical development of feminist theory through a lens of historical and dialectical materialism.
