Join DSA San Diego on July 10th for a one-time showing of WTO/99, a new archival documentary about the mass protests and direct actions that confronted the beating heart of global capitalism and the institutions that put profit over workers and the planet.

Pulling from over 1,000 hours of on-the-ground footage, WTO/99 documents four days in 1999 when more than 40,000 trade unionists, environmentalists, anarchists, students, and organizers banded together to stop the World Trade Organization conference in Seattle, a gathering that sought to empower multinational corporations, expand free trade, weaken labor, and accelerate environmental destruction.

WTO/99 captures this broad coalition of resistance at a flashpoint, where a clash in the streets revealed the shape of the new millennium to come, with militarized police protecting corporate power, mainstream media spinning narratives against the people, and citizen media documenting it all from the ground. In this context, “Dyke” is not a limiting identity, it is an energy rooted in courage, resistance, and refusal to be erased. The march celebrates queer women, lesbians, queer people, Trans and nonbinary people, gender-expansive communities, and everyone who feels aligned with that energy.

DON’T BELIEVE THE PINK WASH - “israel” is the #1 cause of death of queer Palestinians.

There is nothing controversial or dangerous with standing up to demand queer Palestinian visibility, dignity and rights - the right to live free of occupation and israeli terrorism.

We cannot look away from the atrocities our tax dollars are funding; atrocities our government is providing diplomatic cover for.

We take this opportunity to call out San Diego Pride’s complicity in pinkwashing genocide by relying on Zionist sponsors for funding, and platforming organizations that promote pinkwashing and Islamophobia at their events.

In April 2026, San Diego Pride issued a statement – caving to pressure from Zionist organizations - where they back-pedal their decision to headline Pro-Palestine artist Kehlani in last year’s Pride. We firmly oppose the message this sends to the community - San Diego Pride chose to prioritize some queer identities and perspectives over others. This decision is fundamentally incompatible with San Diego Pride’s vision of a “world free of prejudice and bias.”

We demand that they do better.

We call on San Diego Pride to honor the origins of Pride: A riot against powerful state interests; an uprising against ongoing systemic discrimination.

We know our collective liberation will never come from corporate Pride organizations who care more about funders than our communities.  

There is no Pride in Genocide. End the Pinkwashing. Free Palestine.

The whole country must rise up to stop ICE’s killing spree. On July 7, ICE agents murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston. Less than a week later, on July 13, they murdered Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Maine.

These deaths are not accidental — they are the direct result of the Trump administration’s war on working-class immigrant communities, a war which is now demanding agents arrest 2,000 people per day.

 How can a family in San Diego suburbia help children suffering in Palestine? Walk with us and help us raise money for Palestine Children’s Relief Fund @pcrf_sandiego. ❤

    👉🏽 This month, the whole family is welcome. This will be a mom-led walk. Caregivers, partners, dads, kids, and friends can join us for a stroller and scooter friendly walk, a morning with the community, and a way to support children and families in Palestine through PCRF.

    📢 Mom walk groups are a social media phenomenon where moms pay to get together and take walks. It’s not always clear where this money is going or why it’s being collected in the first place.

    ✨ PCRF supports children and families in Palestine through medical care, treatment, food, water, essential supplies, trauma counseling, mental health services, and healthcare rebuilding.

    💸 Donations are optional. There is no minimum, and 100% collected will go to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

Palestinian Feminist Collective San Diego. Join us for a panel and community discussion on a new groundbreaking 200-page report, published by the Palestinian Feminist Collective with the support of Progressive International. The report, titled, “A Predatory State,” documents Israel’s systematic use of sexualized and gendered violence against Palestinians - from the Nakba of 1948 to the genocide in Gaza.

We will hear from the report authors who will present on its key findings and then engage in a community discussion.

The documentary addresses the reality of contemporary Cuba, the effects of increased economic sanctions, the COVID-19 pandemic, and changing U.S.- Cuba relations, using historical archival footage.
