Japan has plans to release 1.28 million metric tons of radioactive water from the Fukushima NuclearPower Plant into the Pacific Ocean starting in 2023 and continuing for more than 30 years. TEPCO(Tokyo Electric Power Company) claims the water is clean, though Tritium remains, as it is processedby ALPS (The Advanced Liquid Processing System). It has 25 Exhaust filters to prevent leakage of radio-active materials, but all filters were found to be broken in 2019. Again in 2021, 24 of 25 filters were foundto be broken. Can you trust them?
The dumping of this radioactive water could cause irreparable damage to our planet, and will affecteverything from the smallest sea creatures to our human living conditions and everyday lives. Regardingthis dumping, there are quite a few protest events going on in the world. In New York, we will have aZoom conference on July 2, 2022, inviting speakers from California and the Pacific Islands. Please join usand share your comments, concerns, and questions.
