This will be a chance for us to build strength and better coordinate our efforts for the coming year. This is also ASD’s only major fundraising event of the year, and buying tickets to enter our gift drawings will not only give you the opportunity to win very excellent gifts, your support will be helping fund our organizing and community building!

4pm – 5pm The ReEvolutionary Poets Brigade

5pm – 6pm Special Guest Speaker, Coalition Spotlights

We are inviting everyone who is able to join us to consider bringing an item which represents their tradition or themselves for our celebratory collective community altar.

We are also collecting new or gently used coats for a coat drive benefiting impoverished indigenous tribes, and local community members experiencing hardship.

Donations of items for our gift drawing are also welcome, and tax-deductible. Throughout the event we will be drawing for a wide assortment of gifts including gift cards from local businesses. Email us@activistsandiego.org if you would like to contribute something for the gift drawing.

Note, while there are space heaters and fire pits, plan to dress warm at night, because it’s an outdoor space. Parking nearby is usually not a problem, though carpooling, ride shares and public transit are recommended, too.

We hope to see you there!
