This month we welcome a very special presentation by Ami Admire, a Native youth advocate, who is Payomkawichum from the Rincon Indian Reservation in what is now known as Northern San Diego County.
Her presentation is titled: Choo’onum Noneshkinum, All My Relations: An Introduction to San Diego County Tribes.
Ami has been teaching language, culture, and storytelling for 25 years, and is the director of ‘ataaxum Pomkwaan/For the People. She is a recipient of the National Indian Health Board’s Impact Award for making a difference in her community.
